How to change Windows 7 Log on Screen

After all we all know about Windows 7, and all are provided best security in his PC/Laptop, but we bor with the old Log On Screen,so here we changed the background picture of  Log on bar...

 WE can Change logon screen via Registry...

Step-1:- First of all click Start & Click Run button 

Step-2:-Type "REGEDIT" and hit enter

Step-3:-Then Registry Editor is open and now You open like following:-

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Backgroun

and then change value OEMBackground to 1

and now u can download REGISTRY file from HERE..

then Extract it, and double-click on the file to enable this feature (Alternative method: right-click, select Merge). 

Step-4:-Now navigate to C:\Windows\System32\oobe, create folder “info”, double click it and create another new folder “backgrounds”. 

Step-5:- Now you can change the inside picture C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds.

  

Step-6:- Rename the file to backgrounddefault.jpg. (Please NOTE: Images must be less than 256kb in size).

Step-7:-Press Windows Key + L to view your customized Logon Screen. Else Reboot your Windows 7 to apply changes.

How to share files on LAN in Windows 7

Requirement :-
(1) A two compute AF
(2) Lan cable
(3) And data / files... lol

Step-1:- Connect a LAN wire in a lan port in both computers

Step-2:- Then go to control panel, Than click "Network and  Sharing Center"

Step-3:- Under the section "Sharing and Discovery", enable the option Nerwork Discovery, File Sharing, Public folder sharing and others if needed....

than Exit the window...

than we go "System Properties"

Step-4:- Right Click On "My Computer" than choose a "System Properties/Properties"

Step-5:- In the System properties window click ”Change settings“  link at middle right.

Step-6:- At “Computer description” Give each computer a description (should not be same).

Step-7:-. Click on “Change” to change name of the computer and create a workgroup.

Step-8:- In the name option give it the same name you gave it for its description and in the workgroup section type in “New network” (Note: Names of the computers should NOT be the same, but Workgroup name should be exactly the same on both PCs)

Step-9:- Once you change these, you will be asked to restart the computer, so simply click OK at the prompt to restart.

Mainly Part on this point is "Assign IP Address"





Step-10:- GO "Control Panel", than Click "Network And Internet", than click "Network And Sharing Center"

Step-11:- Open HomeGroup & click "Advance Sharing" Setting,In Home to work select: than Turn on Network Discovery ,Than Turn on "File and Printer Sharing", than Turn on "Public folder Sharing", than Enable "File Sharing for Device", than Click "Allow windows to manage"

Step-12:- In this case we select "Public select" than Turn on "Network Discovery", than Turn on "File and Printer Sharing", than Turn on "Public Folder Sharing", than Enable "File Sharing for Device", than Turn off "Password Protected Sharing"

Step-13:- After computers are rebooted(Restarted) we have to "Setup IP Addresses" to each PC. When Network and Sharing Center is opened, open Local Area Connection properties.

Step-14:- Scroll down to “Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)”, than click it and click "Properties" button,, than click on “Use the following IP address” and at “IP Address” type in an "IP Address"
e.g 177.152.32.1.

 

Step-15:- Now both PCs must have different IP addresses, (make the second PC’s IP address 177.152.32.2). After you set the IP addresses just press the tab button (and get a number in the subnet mask as 255.255.255.0), press OK.



Now will be able to see the computers listed in “Network and Sharing Center“. You are all set to share files!

How to Share a Folder, Drive:-
(1) First of all We Right Click On Any Folder Or Drive We Wan't to Share
(2) than We Select a "Sharing and Security" 
(3) Enable the File Sharing Button

Here is a small trick to hide text inside your windows default text editor i.e. Notepad using command prompt, but this trick works only on NTFS file system.
Steps to hide text in a Notepad
1. Open your command prompt Start–>Run and Type cmd
2. Type cd.. to move to C:\> drive or Type cd desktop to move to your desktop.

3. Type the below code in your command prompt
notepad filename.txt: hidden
4. Write some data and save (Ctrl+s) the file.
5. Browse to the file location and Open filename.txt you cannot see any data in the file.
6. To retrieve the hidden data open command prompt and type the same command.
Notepad filename.txt:hidden

How to make a backup of your files ?

This is one of the basic, simple thing you can do to save your work in windows environment.
Simply go to Start>All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Backup
It will start the Backup Wizard and click “Next”
Select Backup Files and Settings
Then Select What you want to backup
Then Select where you want your backup to be saved. You can select a Network place as well.
Then backup name and click “Next”
Click Advanced if you want to schedule the backup or select the backup type.
First Select the Type of backup you want to do
Normal – Backup selected files and Mark each file as backed up
Copy – Backup selected files, but does not mark as backed up.
Then Schedule it and test it whether it backs up properly or not by restoring it to another area.

Change Windows 7 Logon Screen To Anything You Want

If you want the default Windows 7 logon screen back just click Revert to Default Logon Screen and the application will automatically uninstall any customized screens.

Unzip the 250 KB zip file and run the program. When the program loads up, Click on Change Logon Screen button.

Browse the background image you want in your logon screen. Don’t worry about 245KB image limit as logon changer tool automatically compress and resizes the image. So you can choose any large file.

If the file size is too large, then it will ask to create copy of it and resize it. Click Yes to proceed.
